Kundalini Yoga for Beginners: A 6 Week Course

Learn the basics of this potent practice to experience an increasing sense of self and vitality. Kundalini yoga works with the body in specific ways by using a dynamic combination of posture, pranayama (breath), music, mantra and meditation. The benefits of Kundalini yoga include: bringing balance to the hormonal system and thus the mood and emotions, strengthening the entire body and nervous system, inner vitality and the ability to completely relax. All of which open the door for expanded states of consciousness to be experienced and enjoyed.
The Kundalini is an indwelling life force energy which we consciously work with in Kundalini yoga. Located at the base of the spine it is often conceptualised as a coiled serpent, which, when aroused can transform us, allowing us to access more of our full potential as human beings; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
This six week course will give you the tools to feel confident attending regularly scheduled Kundalini Yoga classes and workshops. It is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience wishing to deepen their understanding.
